Another Glastonbury Festival selling the most local of produce

Cheesy Chips. Toasties!

As the crow flies the Glastonbury Festival site is about a mile from our farm. It makes sense that we take the opportunity to set up a little stall at the festival to provide the most local of local produce for the hundreds of thousands of people that descend on Somerset for the five day party. We took along some new products too, Moolin Rouge made it’s festival debut and was a big hit on both chips and in a toastie (with marmite was very popular). Our brand new hottest cheese the Red Hot Charlie Pepper also lit up a few faces – and mouths – with the chilli fans seeking it out by festival’s end. You’ll be able to buy both Moolin Rouge and Red Hot Charlie Pepper on this site very soon.

The greatest show on earth

Tankus the henge at the Avalon Cafe stageIt’s not about the headliners! We managed to get away from the stall a bit and catch a few bands and shows but just being there is amazing. You can walk all day or just stay in the one area and still have a great time. If you haven’t been you simply must get a ticket for 2019 when they go on sale. And then come and visit the Gould’s Cheddar stall for a cheese toastie, some cheesy chips or maybe even the luxury Poutine!
